Another Family of lizards has developed the art of gliding between
the massive trunks seen in these forests – geckos. Five species
have developed belly skin flaps and various flanges on the tail and
cheeks to increase surface area. Unlike the Draco dragons their flanges
are not expandible due to modified ribs.
