  ABOUT FLEUR & CARLIA KNOWLES
About David Knowles

Fleur Meston grew up on a farm with her siblings at Bolgart
Western Australia. The farm was sold in 2008. Fleur has vivid memories of this land she loved and knew so well.
She lived out her high school dreams by travelling and
working in many other countries during the 1980’s.
Fleur met David in 1991 at the home of mutual friends.
After dinner David gave a slide show which impressed Fleur
so greatly that she boldly invited him out on a bush walk.
This evolved into more serious bushwalking adventures in
the Moluccas (Maluku) and Irian Jaya (now West Papua).
After realising that they travelled so well together they
decided to take that special walk into marriage.

Fleur passionately uses many of her skills to assist
children to recognise their own uniqueness. As well as educate about invertebrates and their habitat she works part-time for YouthCARE as a Chaplain at her local gov. primary school.

Carlia Knowles is an athletic girl who loves a good book,
her cheeky charcoal tabby cat Ebony, doing lounge-
room and trampoline gymnastics, playing netball and
winning Yartzee. She loves exploring with her Mum and
Dad and is looking forward to revisiting the rain forests of Sabah and Queensland.
